OPW Kilkenny Castle is delighted to collaborate with Kilkenny Arts Festival for this FREE spectacular light show!
With its distinctive circular towers and magnificent limestone walls, Kilkenny Castle is one of the most celebrated landmarks in the city, if not the country. As night falls, those iconic walls will play host to a spectacular free light show. The show will be visible at several points around the city (and you can tune in to KCLR to hear the music accompanying the show), but the best vantage point is the Castle Rose Garden, from where you can enjoy free access to the full spectacle. Don’t miss this chance to see the castle as you’ve never seen it before!
