Come take a stroll through the Castle’s gardens and experience the true magic and wonder of Christmas past …..  marvel at the illuminated Christmas tree displays and festive outdoor lighting on this delightful Christmas trail……

Opening hours at weekends from 3:30pm to 7pm (with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) and mid-week from 3:30pm to 5:30pm – (with observance of social distancing)

 

Christmas opening arrangements at Kilkenny Castle:

The Castle will close on Christmas Eve at 1pm and re-open on Sunday 27 December at 9:30am.   It will also close on New Year’s Eve at 1pm and re-open on New Year’s Day at 9:30am.   Last admissions will be 30 minutes before closing.  Visits are self-guided and online booking is advised at www.kilkennycastle.ie

The Castle Park will close on Christmas Eve from 1pm and re-open on Saturday 26 December at 9am
