OPW Kilkenny Castle is delighted to present 2021 Music in the Garden series on seven Sunday afternoons from Sunday 18 July to Sunday 29 August at the Rosegarden – these will be very relaxed and intimate performance with audience seated on the grass in their pods
Time: 3pm to 4pm with entry from 2:30pm to the Rosegarden on a first come basis from courtyard side for numbers permitted under public health guidelines
Full compliance with current public health guidelines is mandatory with wearing of face coverings and observing 2m social distancing. Please note seating is not provided
Sunday 29 August: ‘Dynamica’ String Quartet
‘Dynamica String Quartet’ have been together for eight years since 5th class in St.Canice’s Co Ed Primary School in Kilkenny and then continued on to Loreto Secondary School. At the age of four years, they started violin and progressed then to cello and viola. They have performed for President Higgins and also at many civic occasions in Kilkenny. They have won awards at Feis Ceol and Kilkenny Music Festival and even featured on the ‘Late Late Toy Show’.
