St. Patricks Junior Brass Band Kilkenny
St. Patricks Junior Brass Band are the future of Brass Banding in Kilkenny being the fruit of many years of tuition under Christine Somers Musical Director. The Band recently entertained the public of Kilkenny in venues such as the Town Hall, St. Patricks Church and The Parade as they wait to take their place in the Senior Band.
The Members are excited to have this opportunity to perform in the Castle Parkas part of the” Music in the Gardens” series and no doubt will do themselves proud in front of a most appreciative audience courtesy of the Office of Public Works. The youngest members are only 8 years old and are supported by John Egan and some senior members of St. Patricks Band. The Band are proud to wear their new uniforms for the concert. So break a leg and welcome the newest performers to the Castle
