Sing along stories exploring Halloween customs & traditions in Ireland

Join Traditional Singer & Folklore Collector Rachel Uí Fhaoláin in the Medieval Room of Kilkenny Castle at 4.30pm on Friday 3^rd of November.  As part of this fun, interactive workshop we will learn and sing a newly composed song from the children’s section of Rachel’s recently published song book ‘In the Singing of Songs’.  We will sing all about the many customs & traditions surrounding Halloween.  How do we disguise ourselves?  Do you make and eat cál ceannann | colcannon?  What fun traditional games do you play?  How did the older people in your community celebrate Halloween?  There is so much to sing about.  Learn and explore it all through singing & storytelling with Rachel.
