Kilkenny Arts Festival – Panorama Kino Theatre at Kilkenny Castle Park

OPW is very pleased to partner with the Festival in presenting a wonderful array of literary and musical events in The Parade Tower, Light up the Castle in the Rose Garden, Panorama Kino Theatre in the Castle Park and of course the wonderful Secret Garden Music returns also.
Panorama Kino Theatre
Panorama Kino Theatre redefines theatre as its unique 360º rotating cabinet transforms reality into fantasy and shows the world in a new light. Panorama provokes our senses, challenges perceptions and reconnects people with space and each other.
As Panorama slowly rotates, the audience inside watches through a screen window at a world which starts to change, evolve, abstract, not just through the interventions of the actors, but also through the general public outside, who find themselves integrated and becoming part of the drama. The observer is no longer simply a consumer of theatre, but co-creator of it!
